Wednesday- En Plein air painting with watercolors
Thursday- Sand/ tempera painting- using sand to create textured paintings
Friday- Scrimshaw pendants with plaster

Philosophy
In my work, I try to enhance my students visual awareness, creative thinking skills, and
artistic abilities through a variety of 2 and 3 dimensional projects in a variety of medias.
I reinforce the Principles of Design through repeated challenges with an emphasis
on line, color shape, form , space and texture. My goal is to help people to be more
involved in their visual worlds.

Students with unpaid balances may not return to class until the balance is paid in full. All supplies provided by the MVAA. Some scholarships available for year-round island children with financial need and demonstrated interest in art. Please inquire.
