Ripaldi Shane Rosalie Ripaldi Shane was born in Boston and studied art at Brandeis University, Massachusetts College of Art and the Decordova Museum School. She is a member of the Copley Society, the Cambridge Art Association, a distinguished artist member of the Concord Art Association and vice president of the Martha's Vineyard Art Association. Ms. Shane works in watercolor, gouache and oil to create paintings of contemporary realism, capturing everyday subjects with her unique vision of a felt reality more evocative of nature than representational of it. Lush colors and intense light permeate her work.
